Use Smart Compose in Google Docs
You can use Smart Compose in Google Docs to help you write documents faster and more easily. This feature uses machine learning to offer suggestions as you type.
Important: Smart Compose is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French for users with accounts through work or school. Smart Compose doesn't provide answers and may not always provide factually correct information.
Turn Smart Compose on or off

Open a document in Google Docs.

At the top, click ToolsPreferences.

To turn Smart Compose on or off, click Show Smart Compose suggestions.

Click Ok.
Accept or reject a suggestion
To accept a Smart Compose suggestion:

Press the tab key

Press the right-arrow key

For Android or iOS: Swipe right over the suggested text
To reject a Smart Compose suggestion, keep typing.
Enable text suggestions for inclusive classrooms
Empower students to articulate their thoughts by enabling text suggestions on their device. As students type, suggestions appear above their cursor to help them complete challenging words and continue working. Words are predicted based upon the student's spelling; as they type more letters, new and more accurate suggestions will appear.
To enable text suggestions:

From the Windows icon, select Settings.

From the Settings window, select Devices.

Select Typing from the left navigation pane.

Under Hardware keyboard toggle Show text suggestions as I type to On. This enables text suggestions when typing on the physical keyboard of your device.

Under Typing toggle Show text suggestions as I type on the software keyboard to On. This enables text suggestions when using a keyboard on the screen of your device.

(optional) To support multilingual students toggle Show text predictions based on the recognized languages you’re typing in to On.

After updating the settings, suggested words will be provided as you type in Teams Chat, word processing programs, browsers and more.
